surprisingly enough there are no many other sites to see in Mecca. But there still would be that fort that rised up on the hill near the Haram. It was built in the 17th century by the Otomans with the purpose of protecting the city. Quite an interesting sight .....if it wouldn't have been torn down by the authorities some years ago. What a pity!
